Hi there! My name's Matt Palanca, and I'm a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. As the owner of Mythos One Media, I'm dedicated to creating films that'll move you, provoke your inner child, and tell your unique story. With over 10 years of video production experience, my aim is to capture the beauty and authenticity in your wedding and deliver an experience that you can cherish forever.

I was born to Filipino parents and raised in the suburbs of LA. After graduating from the film program at UC, Santa Barbara, I went on to work as a freelance camera assistant and grip on productions around Hollywood. I eventually became an in-house video editor and graphic designer for a large-format documentary film company. While there, I acquired a ton of practical skills working on a variety of theatrical projects and marketing campaigns, but the 9-to-5 grind sort of wore thin on me. I had a burning desire to push myself more creatively, and to work with other passionate people from eclectic backgrounds. "There are stories out there that need to be told!" I said to myself. And so, in 2022 I set out on my own and started my own video production company. Today, I get to help tell the stories of couples all across the nation and I couldn't be any more grateful.
